Today http://www.youtube.com/ has been a pain in the neck. Ive been trying to upload a Haul Video and it wont let me!! Ive been holding on to this stuff for a week now but I haven't had the chance to upload or blog about it. I went to the mall with my sister Christina and bought a few things that I "needed." I went to MAC, Benefit, Cloe, and Bliss. The makeup I bought will be featured in my video which will be up tomorrow afternoon. I really wanted to share the dresses I bought from Forever21. I'm pregnant, and as the days go on I'm starting not to fit into my old clothing anymore. My jeans are making me sad because I usually wear jeans on a daily basis. Now that the days are heating up its time for dresses! This is what I bought:

Paulina Maxi Dress

Fab Braided Strap Dress

Paisley Trimmed Dress

I also recently went shopping with my boyfriend, Kris, and he bought me like 5 more dresses that I want to take pictures in and show you. None of these dresses shown or the dresses that are not are maternity. I bought them in either a Medium or a Large depending on the material. Its getting late...I better hit the hay.

My Mom is in my new video :)

Friday, April 24, 2009

Don't lie...my mom looks hot! Haha. I think she looks darn good for being over 50 years old. She likes her hair a little bigger and curly using big plastic rollers. I think straight sleek hair makes her look more youthful. Every chance she gets she has me make her over. Its usually really dramatic with false lashes, but shes just going to a casual dinner tonight so nothing too dramatic. As you can tell in the video featuring her, all of us are pretty outgoing because of her. In the video I am using quite a few products but the ones that stood out enough from me to mention are two of her own items in her makeup collection. Elizabeth Arden's Flawless Finish Loose Powder in Medium 2 #04 was the perfect color and went on nicely without making her skin look dry. Also Sheer Cover's Duo Concealer in Medium/Tan, this was almost as good as my all time favorite Boi-ing by Benifit...almost. It was a little creamier than I am used to but it gave amazing coverage to my mothers dark circles and age spots. I highly recommend these products to the mature ladies looking for a good face makeup and concealer. The video will be up soon so please go check it out. Have a great day!

Todays Nail Color

Wednesday, April 22, 2009

I think I am obsessed with my nails. I don't like seeing girls with chipped nails. Its always best to carry a bottle of clear nail polish and some nail polish remover wipes. I just think it looks really messy. I remember a while back it was "in" to have chipped nail polish and all the celebs were requesting it from the salons. I was like wth. The weather is warming up so I decided to ditch the purple and go with a bright blue. "Beach Blue" by Santee is the color I chose and I purchased it for $2 on www.cherryculture.com. That website also carries a few items that I have used in some of my videos so check it out. Along with my blue polish I used a base coat and a top coat that I bought from Sally Beauty Supply in West Covina, Ca. There is a top coat that I would pay any amount for (retail $7.99) and dries fast with a high gloss finish. "Seche Vite" Dry Fast Top Coat, its the same top coat my salon uses so I had to get some! Oh and I cant leave out the sparkle...Its from Wet n Wild in "Kaleidoscope". Love it! So if you don't already have these items, what are you waiting for?? lol. Well I better go. Please leave me a comment if you know of any must have this summer in nail care...

Random little Haul and Daily Event

Tuesday, April 21, 2009

Kris, Beast and myself went swimming yesterday. Beast is a Prince and the water was too cold so he spent his time floating around. He was so cute. It was blistering hot out. I can never get used to the heat. I think it hit over 100. Ugg. After playing like little kids in the pool I went upstairs to take a nap. I was so tired. Little did I know I was gonna wake up covered in sweat. I wanted to die. Kris was just staring at me like I was a beached whale lol. Before our water adventure we went to Walmart. I got a bottle of Neutrogena 'Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock' SPF70. I desperately needed sunblock for my face. I hope you all are not putting regular sunblock on your face...you will break out! I also got a new nail polish 'Climax' 60 Seconds by Rimmel London. Its a really fun and funky purple. I love it. Kris said it reminded him of Easter lol. I also picked up Physicians Formula 'Bronze Booster' in Light to Medium. Its a pressed powder that is easy to build up to the darkness that you like, and has glow activators. I tried it on and it looked like a natural tan. I will be post a video soon showing you a demo. I better get going my sister Christina is expecting me soon to do another video with her. I hope she doesn't move too much during this next video lol. Love you all! Xoxoxo

First Blog Post

I'm not sure how this all really works...but I guess I should give it a try. Kris and I just got back from camping out in Johnson Valley. It was out of a scary movie when night came. You couldn't see much around you, but when you looked up it was like seeing heaven. We went with good friends Jennette and Bill, along with Kris' parents. It was a long drive and of course I had to get car sick! After I re lieved myself...and it wasn't pretty, I was ready to ride! Who said pregnant girls can't have fun?? It was a nice weekend out in the sun. We just got back and my face is burnt! Bummer. The redness is going to be around for a while. Its late right now and its still feels hot as heck outside. Its going to be an interesting night. I hate it when its hot at night!

YouTube has been good to me in the sense I got to meet so many cool people. I feel like the number of subscribers I have, is the number of new friends Ive made. When I posted my "Thank You" video I received so many messages from woman as far as Ireland thanking me for my kind words and glad to have someone to relate to on YouTube when it comes to the military life. Its hard but in the end its all worth it. I hope I get more messages from military wives, girlfriends, family, and service woman. It warms my heart :)

I think I will be blogging about anything and everything on here. I hope this goes well and is not too boring for you all. I will post my Hauls here so I don't have to make a 2 minuet video on a few items. Thanks so much to all my subbies and new friends for all of your support. I cant wait to go home and see Beast. Good night!
