The Best Salad on the Planet...in my opinion

The Carly Salad

OK, its really not called that but every time I go to her house she makes a salad just like the one I am about to show you. Its really easy to make and you should be able to find all of these ingredients at one store. I usually get them at Trader Joe's but I didn't have the time or energy to drive out to one so I went to Fresh & Easy.

What you will need:

Mixed Green Salad bag

Balsamic Vinaigrette

Candied Pecans

Dried Cranberries

Red Onion

Persian Cucumber

Feta Cheese

Wash salad mix and dump in a bowl of your choice.

Dice up Cucumber and Red Onion. The amount will depend on how many you will be serving. A little goes a long way with the onion...so don't over do it.

Add in the rest of the ingredients but leave out the dressing. Let your guest be the judge on how much to add to their salad. I love dressing so I might over pour hehe.
Notice the amounts that I added to the bowl.

Toss and Serve.
Enjoy!

Recent Cosmetic Purchase

Blame it on the sales

I have a mix of things I wanted to share with you all. I went to Walmart because I was bored to death and needed an excuse to get out. Then my younger sister invited me to go to the mall for a sale at JC Penny's. I bought Jude a bunch of clothing but I was given a 20% off that worked for Sephora! I was excited about that and being a Beauty Insider, Sephora sent me a giftcard worth $20 so I was set! Now enough with the mumbo jumbo...

While I was looking thru all of the deals in Sephora, a girl walked by me and she smelt so pretty I had to ask (like a weirdo...cause that's how she looked at me) what she was wearing and she said it was LOLA by MARC JACOBS. I am pretty picky with perfume so I decided to get the roll on and give it a try.

Ive been hooked on my liquid foundations but I wanted to give powder another shot.

LORAC EVENING OUT COMPELXION KIT caught my eye.

It comes with powder (there are 4 shades to pick from) 2 concealers, powder puff and a concealer brush. I cant wait to try this out and let you all know how I love/hate it.
I could not leave without getting the newest URBAN DECAY BOOK OF SHADOWS.

Kris bought me the first volume back in Virgina and I have been hooked ever since. I didn't get the Alice in Wonderland pallet I was too late :[

These palettes always have the coolest pop outs! This one is inspired by NYC.

The shadows are highly pigmented and are super soft. The bad thing about these palettes is that they repeat a few shadows. I hate that. I want to get a new everything! I thought I was going to get SIN Primer Potion. Wishful Thinking haha.

These colorful lipsticks are all by Revlon.
"PRIM-ROSE" (Creme), "WINK FOR PINK" (Pearl), "STRAWBERRY SUEDE" (Matte), and "FABULOUS FIG" (Matte).

My new obsession line: HARDCANDY. I love this line, its only available at WALMART and they are all under $10 each. I didn't have time to swatch the nail polishes but they are true colors.

This bronzer is amazing and makes my face glow.

A little on the watery side and is perfect for quick fresh makeup application when you are in a rush!

The following rings are my current favorites. I make sure to always have a fresh coat of paint or new set of nails before bringing attention to my hands with one of these eye stoppers. I hate seeing girls wear rings that are beautiful with busted nails haha.

I have 5 bracelets that I never take off so I rearly buy any, but I decided a small set wouldn't hurt. I keep cutting my hair so I wanted to add a little cuteness with small bows. Too kiddie? I think its girly but not sure when I would wear them....hmmmm.
